CS Elite Barber Academy was born at CS Studio VIP Barbers, founded with a clear vision: to share the knowledge, skills, and talent developed through years in the barbering industry with young people who wanted to learn, grow, and turn their passion into a profession.
What started by teaching a few young barbers how to master the tools and techniques of the trade grew into something much bigger. Some of those students developed their skills, refined their talent, and eventually joined the team professionally, becoming true Elite Barbers.
And that’s where our philosophy was born.
We don’t just give you the fish. We teach you how to fish.

David Aldana
Based in the heart of Canary Wharf, London, CS Elite Barber Academy was founded by David Aldana — a master barber with over 15 years of experience who has shaped his craft across Colombia, Spain, and England.
Our mission is simple but ambitious: to elevate every student to a level of skill and confidence they never imagined possible. We don’t just teach barbering — we raise the standard of what barbering education can be.
We offer government-recognised, in-person courses designed for every stage of your journey, from Introduction to Barbering through to advanced specialisations. Whether you’re picking up clippers for the first time or refining your craft as a working professional, our academy provides the structure, mentorship, and environment to help you reach your full potential.

Do I need any previous experience to enroll?
No. We welcome students of all experience levels. Whether you’re a complete beginner with no previous knowledge or an experienced barber looking to improve your skills, we have a course that’s right for you. Our training is designed to help every student progress and reach their full potential.
What will I learn during the course?
Our Introduction Course provides a complete foundation in barbering, giving you the skills and confidence to work with any type of client. You’ll learn essential cutting techniques, barbering fundamentals, and the practical knowledge needed to begin your career. Once you’ve mastered the basics, you can continue your development with our advanced Fade Specialization course, designed to take your fading skills to a professional level.
How long is the course?
Our Complete Barbering Course runs over 6 months and includes 58 classes, totalling 174 hours of professional barbering training. The course is designed to help you develop the skills, knowledge and confidence needed to progress in the barbering industry.
Are the classes 100% in-person?
Yes! All our classes are 100% in-person at our barbering academy in Canary Wharf, London. This hands-on approach allows you to learn directly from our instructors, practise your techniques and develop your barbering skills in a professional environment.
Will I work with real clients during the course?
Yes! Most of our classes are practical, giving you the opportunity to develop your skills by working with real clients in a professional environment. Students are expected to bring their own clients to practise on. However, if you experience any difficulties finding clients, we’ll do our best to support you and help find a solution.
What class schedules are available?
At our academy, we try to organise groups based on what works best for our students.
Can I pay in installments?
Yes! We offer a range of payment options to suit your needs and make your barbering education more accessible. This includes flexible payment plans through Klarna, allowing you to spread the cost over three months. Get in touch with our team to find out more about the available payment options.
Will I receive a certificate after completing the course?
Yes! Upon successful completion of the course, you’ll receive a certificate issued by our academy to recognise your training and the skills you’ve developed throughout the programme.
Will I be ready to work as a barber after completing the course?
Absolutely! At CS Elite, our goal is to ensure every graduate is ready to enter the barbering industry with confidence. Our hands-on training equips students with the practical skills and knowledge needed to work professionally, helping our graduates stand out for their high standards and exceptional barbering skills.
